What should I do if I notice unusual noise or the fan stops spinning after a period of use?

If you notice unusual noise or the fan is not spinning properly after using the device for some time, we recommend checking whether any foreign objects (such as dust, small particles, or paper debris) have entered the fan. These may block the fan blades and affect normal operation. Please make sure to power off the unit before carefully cleaning any debris.

If there are no obstructions and the issue persists, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will be happy to assist you with further troubleshooting and provide a suitable solution.

Why does the fan blow cold air in winter?

This is usually because your heating trigger temperature is set too low (we recommend raising it to around 85°F), or you have not disabled the cooling mode for winter.

Why does the fan blow hot air in summer?

This is usually because your cooling trigger temperature is set too high (we recommend lowering it to around 70°F), or you have not disabled the heating mode for summer.

How can I reduce the noise of the fan?

You can lower the fan's speed (0–10 levels) using the remote control or the buttons on the device panel.

Is the temperature displayed on the screen the room temperature?

No, the temperature displayed on the screen is the temperature of the air inside the vent duct, detected by the sensor.

How can I shorten the time the fan continues to run after the air conditioner or heater is turned off?

If the fan is running in cooling mode, you can lower the trigger temperature (but it must remain above the cooling air temperature). If the fan is running in heating mode, you can increase the trigger temperature (but it must remain below the heating air temperature).

The fan is running normally, but the screen has gone black. What should I do?

This is the automatic screen-off feature designed to save power. The screen will automatically turn off after 6 minutes of inactivity, but the settings continue to run in the background. Press any button to wake up the screen.

How many fans should I buy?

If your room has multiple vents, we recommend starting with 1 fan to test the improvement. For larger rooms, it is recommended to use 2 or more fans for faster heating or cooling performance.
