THE SCIENCE OF EVERYDAY COMFORT

Better airflow. Made simple.

Your register booster fan helps move conditioned air from your vent into the room. A built-in sensor monitors the air inside the duct, while your selected settings control when the fan runs.

  1. Sense the airflow

The temperature sensor reads the air inside the vent duct, rather than the room temperature.

  2. Choose your mode

Select heating or cooling for the season. Disable the unused mode and adjust the trigger temperature to match your system.

  3. Find your comfort

Adjust the fan speed with the device controls or remote, then fine-tune the settings for your room.

What should I do if I notice unusual noise or the fan stops spinning after a period of use?

If you notice unusual noise or the fan is not spinning properly after using the device for some time, we recommend checking whether any foreign objects (such as dust, small particles, or paper debris) have entered the fan. These may block the fan blades and affect normal operation. Please make sure to power off the unit before carefully cleaning any debris.

If there are no obstructions and the issue persists, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will be happy to assist you with further troubleshooting and provide a suitable solution.

Why does the fan keep running and not turn off automatically?

Cooling trigger temperature set too high: The air inside the duct is not warm enough to meet the condition to stop the fan. Please lower the cooling trigger temperature.

Heating trigger temperature set too low: The air inside the duct is not cool enough to meet the condition to stop the fan. Please increase the heating trigger temperature.

Dual mode conflict: Both modes are active, and the current temperature is triggering the incorrect mode. Please disable the unused mode for the current season (set it to “OF”).

Stuck in manual mode: The device may be in manual “Fan Mode,” where the fan runs continuously regardless of temperature. Please press the MODE button once to return to the main screen.

If you have tried the above steps and the issue still persists, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will assist you further.

What should I do if the device has no power or the screen does not turn on?

Please unplug and reconnect both the wall outlet and the adapter connections to ensure they are securely connected.

If the device still does not power on, please try using another compatible 12V DC adapter (5.5 × 2.1 mm, ≥1A, such as those used for routers or security cameras) for cross-testing.

If the device still does not turn on after trying these steps, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will be glad to help.

Why is the remote control not working?

Please make sure the battery insulation tab has been removed, or replace it with a new CR2025 lithium coin battery.

When using the remote, please point it toward the device. The optimal control range is within 10 meters (within a 45° angle).

If the remote still does not work after following these steps, please contact us at support@biowind.net for further assistance.

Why are the screen buttons not responding?

The device may have the child lock feature enabled. Please press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds on the main screen. When “UL” appears, the device is unlocked.

If the buttons still do not respond after unlocking, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will help you further diagnose the issue.

How do I perform a factory reset?

If the settings are incorrect or the device is not functioning properly, please press and hold the MODE button and the Up (▲) button simultaneously for 3 seconds. When all icons light up on the screen, the factory reset is complete.

If the issue persists after the reset, please contact us at support@biowind.net. We will provide further support.
